How Once Upon a Time in Harlem Performed

Once Upon a Time in Harlem's Blurbs

About me:

In 1972, filmmaker William Greaves threw a party at Duke Ellington's townhouse and invited every living legend of the Harlem Renaissance he could find, including Eubie Blake and Aaron Douglas. The footage sat unfinished for 50 years until his son David finished it. It premiered at Sundance and played Cannes. A party nobody alive was at, and now everybody can be.

Who I'd like to meet:

Anyone who loves history best when it's told by the people who lived it.
