How The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 Performed
movie guru's TLDR

A computer-generated baby face is the creepiest thing in the final Twilight movie, and that includes a whole council of ancient vampires in velvet capes. Renesmee has the smooth, frozen glow of a department store mannequin that learned to blink, and the camera keeps lingering on her like nobody noticed. The good news: Bella is finally a vampire, and Kristen Stewart is clearly relieved to play someone with energy, confidence and a decent arm-wrestling grip. Michael Sheen is having a ball as Aro, giggling and gliding around like the story is his dinner party. The middle drags through a parade of new vampires, each introduced with one power and one line. Then the finale goes big, with a snowy showdown that’s the most fun this saga ever had. It made $888.9 million worldwide on a reported $136M. A 4.6 because the ending is a blast and getting there feels like attendance day at vampire school. $6,868 says someone in the room grabs a pillow during the snowy battle and swears they were only getting comfortable.

What works: Michael Sheen is a gleeful villain, vampire Bella finally has some spark, and the snowy finale is the best action in the saga.

What doesn’t: The CGI baby is deeply unsettling, and the middle is a long, flat roll call of new vampires with one trait each.

Who it’s for: Twilight fans who stuck it out to the end and want a big, silly, satisfying send-off.

Spoilers

The huge battle in the snow, with major characters falling one after another, turns out to be a vision Alice shows Aro of what will happen if he fights. He backs down, the Volturi leave, and Bella finally lets Edward read her mind.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2's Blurbs
About me:

Picking up right where the last one stopped, Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) wakes up as a brand new vampire, with superhuman speed and a husband, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), who can finally race her through the forest. She also has a baby daughter, Renesmee (Mackenzie Foy), who grows alarmingly fast, and a best friend, Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner), who will not leave the kid's side. Then a visiting vampire mistakes Renesmee for something forbidden and reports her to the Volturi, the ruling council led by Aro (Michael Sheen). Bill Condon directs. One hundred fifteen minutes, and the Volturi are on their way.

Who I'd like to meet:

Anyone who can babysit a kid who outgrows her clothes every few days.
