Daniel Craig can take a punch. These are his bottom eight by movie.guru score, counting down to the true basement. Some of these aren't even bad.

The last one has the best title of his career and a 3.2.

  1. 8Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery poster
His bottom eight starts at 8.6. That's a flex.
91% on Rotten Tomatoes, an 81 on Metacritic, and it still lands here. Only $13.28M worldwide against a reported $40M budget, so the box office skipped this party.
  2. 7The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo poster
Fincher's coldest movie, and Rooney Mara owns it outright.
8.5 on movie.guru, a CinemaScore A, $232.6M worldwide. Craig spends most of it as a very handsome sweater holding a notebook. A great sweater, though.
  3. 6No Time to Die poster
    No Time to Die (2021)7.6
A huge goodbye that runs out of villain halfway.
$906.8M worldwide on a reported $250M to $301M budget. Rami Malek whispers his threats like he's scared to wake the neighbors. Craig carries the whole thing anyway.
  4. 5Munich poster
    Munich (2005)7.5
Craig's best supporting work, and it's underrated here.
7.5 on movie.guru, but Guru's Take is 7.8. Spielberg's 2005 thriller gives Craig the blunt, impatient role, and he steals scenes from Eric Bana without breaking a sweat.
  5. 4Spectre poster
    Spectre (2015)5.8
Spectre spent a fortune to feel like homework.
5.8 on movie.guru, 63% on Rotten Tomatoes, reported budget of $245M to $300M. Christoph Waltz plays it like he's waiting for a sharper script to show up. It never does.
  6. 3Queer poster
    Queer (2024)5.6
His bravest swing. Audiences just didn't follow him there.
Critics beat 67% of movies, audiences only 41%. Guru's Take is 6.2, above the 5.6 blend. Just $7.02M worldwide for a performance this raw is legit criminal.
  7. 2Quantum of Solace poster
The title is a riddle. The editing is the punchline.
4.9 on movie.guru, Guru's Take 4.4, still $589.6M worldwide. The fights are cut so fast you mostly hear Craig winning somewhere just off screen.
  8. 1Cowboys & Aliens poster
Harrison Ford, Sam Rockwell, cowboys, aliens, and somehow it's boring.
3.2 on movie.guru, audiences beat just 19% of movies, $174.8M worldwide on a reported $163M budget. The title writes its own trailer. Then the movie forgets to have fun.
Change my mind. Rank these from most to least rewatchable. Wrong answers only.

$70.07 says you defend Cowboys & Aliens in the comments and then admit you haven't watched it since 2011.
